File Sharing & Peer-to-Peer Technology

While some applications of peer-to-peer file sharing are legal and ethical, other uses may violate ethical standards of scholarship, intellectual and artistic property rights under the law, or the security of information systems.

This guide provides help to the college community in understanding the ethical and legal issues of file sharing.  We are interested in your comments and appreciate any resources you may be interested in suggesting to us to add to this guide.
